The Grand National 2010 favourite Denman will kick off his 2009/10 campaign with a run in the Hennessy Gold Cup at Newbury. It is a race Denman has previously won back in 2007.
Denman showed he still had class to perform at the highest level when finishing a strong 2nd to fellow Paul Nicholls’ trained horse Kauto Star at Cheltenham in March. Although far from confirmed as a runner by Nicholl’s, the current plans leave plenty of room for a Grand National run at Aintree in April.
Denman is currently a 20/1 shot for the 2010 Grand National.
